JProf. Dr. Sabine Trepte

Dr. Sabine Trepte is a professor for Media Psychology at the Hamburg Media School and the University of Hamburg. And she is a fan of RCMC and GMaC!

Dr. Trepte is a professor at the Hamburg Media School and the University of Hamburg in Germany. She studied in Giessen (Germany) and New York (U.S.A.) and holds a M.A. in psychology from the University of Cologne and a Ph.D. from University of Music and Drama Hanover (Germany). For post-doc studies Sabine Trepte visited Annenberg School for Communication at University of Southern California in 2002 to do research on international tv entertainment. Sabine Trepte won the ica dissertation award, an ICA best paper award and serves on the editorial board of Media Psychology. Sabine Trepte’s research and teaching interests include media psychology, methodology and media effect studies.
